Lee Corso shares his pick for Notre Dame-Ohio State

“College GameDay” hosts Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit are in South Bend as Notre Dame prepares to face Ohio State on Saturday night.

Corso got down with Kirk Herbstreit before this Saturday’s program to discuss the top matchups for Week 4.

The Top 10 clash will have College Football Playoff implications early in the season. Ohio State, on its part, will try to extend its winning streak over Notre Dame; the Buckeyes have won the previous five meetings in this series.

The Irish have one of the best quarterbacks in the country in Sam Hartman, who has passed for over 1,000 yards, 13 touchdowns, and 0 interceptions this season. However, the Buckeyes will aim for another good effort from Marvin Harrison Jr., who will put the Irish secondary to the test.

Corso made his selection before “GameDay” in his normal pre-show video with Herbstreit.

“You’re going big at Notre Dame today, right?” Herbstreit inquired, seeing Corso’s green tie.

“Be Irish.” Corso said, “Beat Ohio State.” “No. The Buckeyes will defeat them. Notre Dame is going to go ‘Boom’.”

On Saturday night, we’ll see if that remains true. If the Buckeyes win, they’ll be in terrific condition for Big Ten play.
