LeBron James Changes NFL Team Loyalty from Dallas Cowboys to Cleveland Browns
NBA superstar LeBron James has made a surprising shift in his favorite NFL team, leaving behind the Dallas Cowboys and declaring his support for the Cleveland Browns. The big reveal came when LeBron threw his weight behind the San Francisco 49ers in their game against the Cowboys on a recent Sunday night.
The Los Angeles Lakers’ standout player made it very clear, saying, “I know we got a lot of Cowboys fans in America…I’m not one of them.” He also wished the 49ers good luck in the game.

LeBron has been seen over the years wearing Dallas Cowboys gear and even posted about them on Facebook in 2014. He humorously responded to critics, saying, “When someone say “Man your Cowboys stink!!”I say “Yeah I know we do sitting at 5-1 hahaha” #wedemboyz #StriveForGreatness.”
This change from Cowboys to Browns seems to be due to LeBron’s concerns about the Dallas Cowboys’ stance on the national anthem issue. He mentioned, “There was just a lot of things that was going on during when guys were kneeling, and guys were having freedom of speech. They wanted to do it in a very peaceful manner. A lot of people in their front office and a lot of people that ran the organization was like, ‘If you do that around here, then you will never play for this franchise again.'” LeBron believed this wasn’t the right approach, leading to his shift in loyalty.
Now, LeBron is a devoted fan of the Cleveland Browns, led by quarterback Deshaun Watson. It’s important to note that Watson faced serious allegations of sexual misconduct and harassment by 26 women in 2021 and 2022, sparking significant controversy around his role as the team’s leader.
