Lawsuit Against Former Cowboys Star Ezekiel Elliott Is Settle Down
Former Cowboys Running Back Ezekiel Elliott has settled down his Lawsuit of dog attacks dating back to July 2021.
A woman named Jennifer Gampper alleged that Ezekiel’s dogs attacked her and left her with ‘several permanent injuries and marks’. Jennifer claimed that she didn’t provoke the dogs and demanded $1 million for her damages.
This case had a jury trial scheduled for this Monday in the 471st District Court.
According to the Isabella Volmert of the Dallas Morning News, the case has been settled down.
From the Dallas Morning News:
“Gampper’s attorney Christopher Hamilton confirmed in a written statement that the lawsuit has been resolved. He said that he cannot discuss the terms of the settlement. Elliott’s attorney did not immediately respond to multiple requests for comment.”
“Elliott has been at the center of at least two other lawsuits involving his dogs. In 2020, a swimming-pool attendant sued him, claiming his Rottweiler and two bulldogs attacked her in March 2020 and left her in need of surgery.”
Elliot is a free agent who was released by the Cowboys this offseason. Ezekiel Elliott hasn’t signed any deal with any franchise yet.
