Lamar Jackson Sheds Light On His Knee, Stating That It Is Still “Unstable.”
Jackson gave his knee injury update via social media.
Lamar Jackson spoke about his knee injury and addressed some questions regarding his PCL sprain. It is quite certain that he will not play in the upcoming match. The Ravens were seen practicing without Lamar, and it seems he will not make it on Sunday.
What Did Jackson Say About His Injury?
Jackson has not played since his injury on December 4 in a win over the Denver Broncos. He says that he suffered a PCL (Posterior Cruciate Ligament) grade 2 sprain, which is a partially torn PCL, on the borderline of strain 3. He is in the recovery process. But his knee is still unstable, and there is inflammation surrounding his knee.
Jackson tweeted:
“I wish I could be out there with my guys more than anything, but I can’t give 100% of myself to my guys and fans. I’m still hopeful we still have a chance.”
The final five games of the regular season were missed by him, and now the Ravens will have to face Cincinnati without him. The quarterback, Jackson’s absence from the game, brings Tyler Huntley into the game.
Huntley limited his role at practice Wednesday as he is suffering from shoulder and wrist injuries. He will be playing against Cincinnati if he recovers fully.
Fans are supporting Jackson, and his update has given them hope for his return.
