Understanding AML
AML is a type of cancer that causes the bone marrow to produce a large number of abnormal blood cells, which can become unhealthy and spread throughout the body. It can cause various problems, such as anemia, easy bleeding, tumors, and more. It is the most common type of acute leukemia in adults and can worsen quickly if left untreated. Early detection is crucial in increasing the chances of recovery.
