Kieran Tierney tempted by Newcastle United project
Newcastle United might look forward to adding Arsenal’s Tierney to the squad.
As per Simon Collings from the Evening Standard, Kieran Tierney might be tempted to leave the Emirates if Newcastle United comes knocking.
Newcastle has not confirmed their interest in the Scottish left-back. However, the club has been informed of Tierney’s situation.
Situation at Arsenal
With the arrival of Oleksandr Zinchenko in the summer from Manchester City, the 25-year-old has struggled to receive gametime with just four appearances this season.
The Ukrainian has become a key member of Arteta’s style of football. He offers dynamism as he can shift into the mid-field to play as an inverted fullback.
Arsenal as well would love to have Tierney as a second option but hasn’t decided whether they will let him in the summer or not. The Gunners hold the leverage as the Scotsman has three more years on his contract.
Kieran arrived at Arsenal in 2019 for £25m and has been a regular starter until now.
