Kevin Garnett reacts to James Harden landing with the LA Clippers
After accusing Daryl Morey of lying, James Harden forced his way onto another club this offseason. Mory and the Philadelphia 76ers settled the long-running stalemate earlier this week when they moved Harden to the Los Angeles Clippers. Harden’s fourth team in four years generated a slew of amusing reactions from fans throughout the league.
Morey was determined that he would not deal Harden for anything less than an All-Star. The stalemate was anticipated to last the rest of the season, with Daryl Morey opting for a more patient approach.
Regardless, James Harden received his wish this week when the 76ers moved him to the Los Angeles Clippers. Kevin Garnett, a Hall of Famer, chimed in on the matter during a recent broadcast of his Ticket & The Truth show with Paul Pierce.
According to Garnett, Harden must have had some enormous forces at work behind the scenes to be placed on yet another championship-contending team. According to him, there is just one individual who can get Harden anything he wants.
“James Harden has to be the first cat I’ve ever seen who gets what he asks for.” “It’s incredible,” Garnett added. “I don’t know if he goes down as anything else, dude. Michael Jordan has to be it. Michael Jordan represents James Harden.”
“All you players out there, nobody in the league ever moved like he moved.” Moses is his name. He moves it, and it carries with him.”
The prospects of James Harden and the Los Angeles Clippers in a crowded Western Conference
The Los Angeles Clippers’ title chances have risen as a result of the move, putting them in sixth position on the BetMGM Sportsbook. Despite the Memphis Grizzlies’ recent troubles as a result of the absences of Ja Morant and Steven Adams, the Western Conference remains more competitive than ever.
In addition to the defending champions, the Denver Nuggets the Phoenix Suns are considered to be title contenders in the Western Conference. Furthermore, both the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers are anxious to reclaim first place in the league.
Of course, the main concern for the Los Angeles Clippers is whether Kawhi Leonard and Paul George stay healthy. Since joining forces in Los Angeles, the combo has battled to stay on the court together for extended period of time, most notably during the playoffs.
The signing of James Harden is expected to help the club compete in a packed Western Conference; nevertheless, the health of Leonard and George is the most important issue. If both stars stay healthy, the club might finally make the postseason push they’ve been hoping for.
