Karn Sharma’s Early Life and Education

Karn Sharma was born in a Hindu Brahmin family in Meerut Uttar Pradesh. Karn started playing cricket watching Sachin Tendulkar on TV. Karn considers Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid as his idols. Moreover, he made his List A debut in the 2007-08 Ranji Trophy Season for Railways against Jammu and Kashmir. He played as a batter in that match and scored 120 runs off 232 balls.

Karn was bought by Royal Challengers Banglore in the 2009 Indian Premier League season. In 2014, he debuted in international cricket as well as became the first highest paid uncapped player in IPL with purchased at 3.75 crore INR. The year 2014 was a dream year for Karn Sharma.
