Juventus Star To Replace Benzema At Real Madrid

According to the Spanish website Fichajes (via Football Espana), Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic has offered himself to Real Madrid. This development comes as Los Blancos look to improve on their striking options.

Carlo Ancelotti is looking to for a future alternative to Karim Benzema. Benzema’s form in 2022-23 has been questionable and his future is in doubt. In the meanwhile, Juventus’s Vlahovic could be a great replacement for the Frenchman.

Benzema is in the final six months of his contract and Madrid would like to have an alternative if not a complete replacement for him. No matter who comes in, it will not be easy to fill in his boots in Madrid’s attack.

Potential Alternatives

Real Madrid executives have already begun the search for the next striker at the Spanish capital. Los Blancos had PSG’s Mbappe on their radar for more than two years. However, the striker decided to extend his stay in Paris, in what was a huge betrayal.

Erling Haaland was also another striker Madrid was eyeing for. However, in search of gold, you often lose a diamond. In this case, Madrid was so keen to bring in Kylian Mbappe that they even lost Haaland to Manchester City.

Another Striker in the Premier League is Harry Kane. The Englishman has been waiting a long time for a move to a big club in search of European glory. At Madrid, the 14-time UCL winner, winning trophies will not be much of a challenge. However, it’s his age that makes things complicated. At best, Kane would be a short-term solution while Madrid is looking to secure their attack for the next 5 to 10 years.

This makes Dusan Vlahovic an ideal candidate to lead the attack at Santiago Bernabeu. The Croatian has expressed his desire to move away.

The 22-year-old forward makes a perfect case for the number nine position.
