Just Stop Oil Protestors Bashed At Wimbledon Court On Wednesday Morning
Just Stop Oil protestor interrupted Wimbledon court this morning during the match between No. 21 Grigor Dimitrov and Sho Shimabukuro.
Around 2 pm, Some protestors from the group Just Stop Oil bashed in, out of nowhere into the court and started to throw environment-friendly confetti on the court, and threw some zig saw puzzles on the grass. Protestors and the mess they created on the court, were removed as soon as possible by the official’s security.
After the incident, the match was on hold for some time which later resumed. The broadcaster at that time wisely handle the situation very well.
Broadcaster from the match, “Once more, orange clouds hang over a British sporting event this summer—this time it’s ticker tape rather than paint dust, but it is an intrusion and will need sorting out,”

The Officials said two of the protestor were arrested and charged with suspicion of aggravated trespass and criminal damage.
The Statement coming from Wimbledon, “Following an incident on Court 18, two individuals have been arrested on suspicion of aggravated trespass and criminal damage and these individuals have now been removed from the Grounds. Play on the court was temporarily paused and, following a suspension in play due to a rain delay, play is about to resume,”
