The Warriors’ visit to the White House was a memorable one. President Biden gave a speech but forgot Klay Thompson’s name.

He changed the topic and called them incredible.

Biden, in his speech, said:

“The team around the big three Steph [Curry], Draymond [Green], and… Well, you guys are incredible. I mean, you add up to 72 feet? They’re amazing. I swear to God you’re incredible.”

Biden honored Curry by calling him “one of the great sportsmen of our time.”

Klay Thompson is an astounding player. He is recognized by everyone in the NBA. This was one of the more awkward encounters in the White House for the player. Although Joe Biden tried hard to recall Thompson’s name, he couldn’t.
