Jimmy Garoppolo’s future will be decided by the 49ers

The 49ers decision on Jimmy Garoppolo

It appears that the 49ers can no longer compete for Garoppolo this summer. Kyle Shanahan, the defensive coordinator of the 49ers, gave his final press briefing on Wednesday. He confessed and replied the same by saying, “No, I don’t see any scenario of that.”

When questioned about his coming back for the 2023 season, however, the 49ers did not manage to locate a trading member. When Trey Lance suffered a season-ending foot injury in Week 2,31 years old Jimmy took over and performed admirably. His professional career completion percentage includes of  67.2 percent for 2,437 yards, 16 touchdowns, and 4 picks.

On December 4 towards the Dolphins, Jimmy G sustained an injury of his own. Purdy now has the opportunity to start games.
