However, PC gamers have been facing significant challenges due to severe frame drops and other issues, making it nearly unplayable. DLSS 3 Mod Doubles FPS in Jedi Survivor

PureDark recently showcased a modded demo version of the game on YouTube, featuring improved frame rates. The modder utilized DLSSG (Deep Learning Super Sampling Group) in the game. However, due to the Denvo Anti-tamper and Anti-cheat system, they were unable to replace FSR2 (Fidelity Super Resolution 2) with DLSS. This marks the modder’s third implementation of DLSS 3, following previous mods for Skyrim and Elden Ring. However, only players using the 40 series graphics cards can fully benefit from the DLSS 3 Mod.

According to the video demonstration, this mod significantly enhanced the game’s performance on PC. It showcased an increase in frame rates from a range of 30-50 FPS to over 90 FPS. However, since it is a demo primarily intended to test DLSS frame generation on AMD FidelityFX FSR2, the modder mentioned that it still had some issues. Additionally, the modder stated that this implementation is not yet polished, as the game itself does not officially support DLSS 3.

These issues mainly arise because FSR2 does not support DLSS frame generation and cannot be used in conjunction with it. In response to a YouTube comment, the modder revealed that they have made a breakthrough and are currently working on replacing FSR2 with DLSS. However, it’s important to note that the DLSS 3 mod for Jedi Survivor has not been released to the public yet.
