Jaylen Brown’s Adductor Strain After His Win Over The Pelicans
Jaylen Brown has played a pivotal role for the Boston Celtics, but he will have to miss games for a few weeks.
The unexpected losses of Kevin Durant from the Brooklyn Nets and now Jaylen Brown from the Boston Celtics will be a test for both teams.
Unfortunately, Brown will have to miss Thursday’s game against the Nets. Before this, he had missed only two games.
Brown is going through a groin injury.
“I tweaked my groin a little bit, so I was done,” Brown told NBC Sports Boston. I’ll get it looked at after the game and get ready for the next one.”
After Al Horford and Danilo Gallinari, Brown will not be playing due to his injury. Some of the best players of the Celtics are injured but Brown’s injury seems less severe.
How Will Brown’s Injury Affect The Team?
Joe Mazzulla estimates that Brown would be out for “probably a week or two.” The injury is a left adductor strain, confirmed by Mazzulla. This injury may sideline him for the upcoming matches.
Brown was questionable in the injury report when his groin was tweaked while playing against the New Orleans Pelicans. He scored 41 points and grabbed 12 rebounds during the game against the Pelicans. Brown has the best record in the NBA at 39-12 and is averaging 27.2 points and 7.1 rebounds per game for the Celtics.
Brown’s absence is going to be a setback for the Celtics. It is a primary cause of concern for the team.
Fans have shown their disappointment online and are hoping for his fast recovery.
