Jaylen Brown Try So Hard But Did Not Make A Win For Celtics
On Monday night, the Boston Celtics faced off against the Houston Rockets in a basketball game that didn’t end in their favor. Even though the Rockets have a reputation as the worst team in the NBA, they managed to pull off a surprising victory against the Celtics. Adding to the challenge, the game took place in Houston, which is quite a distance away from Boston, and it was the second match of a tough six-game road trip for the Celtics.
During the game, the Rockets were in the lead by a significant margin, despite the Celtics’ best efforts to catch up. Jaylen Brown, one of the Celtics’ star players, did an amazing job and scored an impressive 43 points! Malcolm Brogdon, who usually doesn’t start the game, also contributed a lot to the Celtics’ performance, scoring 20 points from the bench.
However, Jayson Tatum, who is another important player for the Celtics, didn’t play his best game. He only scored 22 points and missed a crucial shot toward the end of the game that could have tied it up. It was a tough loss for the Celtics, but they will surely be looking to bounce back in their next game.
However, the Rockets had a great team effort, with five players scoring over ten points each. Jalen Green and Jabari Smith Jr. stood out, scoring 28 and 24 points, respectively. Ultimately, the Rockets emerged victorious with a score of 111-109, leaving the Celtics disappointed.
Even though the loss was tough, the Celtics still have an impressive overall record for the season at 47-22. They will be looking to bounce back in their upcoming game against Minnesota on Wednesday, where they’ll be aiming to secure a much-needed win.
Effect on the Seed!
The Celtics had a tough loss to the Rockets, and it stings even more because it messed up their spot in the Eastern Conference standings. They were already struggling to stay in the first place, but now it’s even harder with only 13 games left in the regular season.
Basically, the Milwaukee Bucks are now in the lead with a three-game advantage over the Celtics in terms of losses. And the Philadelphia 76ers caught up and are tied with the Celtics in terms of losses, so they’re hot on their heels for the No. 2 spot.
It’s not going to be easy for the Celtics going forward. They’ve still got four games left on their current trip, and while some of them are winnable, they need to start playing better than their opponents if they want to stay in the top two spots in the conference. Otherwise, they’ll slip down to No. 3 before they know it.
