Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce, known for his strong family values, recently shared a candid revelation about the rocky beginning of his relationship with his wife, Kylie McDevitt Kelce.

In a recent episode of the New Heights Podcast, hosted by Kelce himself, he invited his wife to join the conversation. During this heartwarming chat, the couple reminisced about the early days of their romance. In a surprising turn of events, Mrs. Kelce shared a humorous yet cringe-worthy memory from their very first encounter at a bar.

She chuckled as she recalled, “The first time we hung out we fell asleep 45 minutes after I got there on the bar table because he was too drunk.”

Jason Kelce, flashing his trademark humor and humility, chimed in, “Not a good first date.”

To add a comical twist to the story, she divulged that one of Kelce’s teammates had to give him a “fireman’s carry” all the way back to his apartment because he was, unsurprisingly, not in the best shape to make it home himself. Throughout the journey, Kelce apparently put up quite a spirited fight.

However, despite this less-than-ideal first impression, love triumphed. It’s clear that this hiccup in their initial rendezvous didn’t deter Jason Kelce from falling head over heels for his now-wife, and the feeling was mutual.

Fast forward to today, and the couple is happily married with three beautiful children.
