James Neesham was born on 17 September 1990 in Auckland, New Zealand. Jimmy completed his schooling at Auckland Grammar School, New Zealand. The New Zealander cricketer started his career by playing for local New Zealand teams. He first played for the Auckland team but didn’t get the satisfaction and moved to Otago Volts which worked well for him.

His performance for Otago Volts brings him multiple rewards as he was included in the New Zealand national cricket team of the limited-overs cricket (T20I and ODIs) for the tour of South Africa.
