Jalen Hurts recovery update, Julian Love will first test the QB
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was playing through injury. He will possibly become a target of the New York Giants in the divisional round.
Although Hurts keeps denying and ignoring his shoulder injury, he will not be able to give his best to the team. It has been almost a month since Hurts sprained his shoulder joint while playing against the Chicago Bears.
Even after suffering from a shoulder injury, Jalen continued to play through subsequent matches. An update about the injury was provided by coach Nick Sirianni and he said that Hurts is feeling better now.
The Giants could target Hurts’ injured shoulder but he seems to pay no heed to it.
Jalen Hurts said, “It’s football. I’ve got a bounty on me every week I go out there on the field. So, I’m going to go out there and just play my game, and whatever happens, happens.”
Hurts seem determined to make a return and play for the Eagles in the coming week.
Julian to test Jalen’s injured shoulder
The quarterback will be tested by the safety of Julian Love as he is not convinced of the seriousness of Hurts’ injured shoulder.
He said,” We’re definitely going to test him out and see how good he’s actually feeling. He makes their offense go. He’s a talented player. As you said, he’s been playing at an MVP pace all year and he’s gonna have to earn it. That’s as simple as I can put it. Whether he’s hurt or not, whether he’s feeling it or not, he’s going to have to earn everything he gets because that’s our approach going into this week.”
He averaged 53.4 rushing yards and 11 rushing attempts per game, before going through the injury. Jalen Hurts was out with a shoulder injury in Weeks 16 and 17, but he was seen in Week 18 against the Giants. In the game, Hurts had 1.4 yards per carry and also threw 229 yards in the game.
Hurts has great zeal to make a comeback after his injury, hope this time he will come healthy and will not get injured again.
