Jalen Carter Looks Really Fit Ahead of 2023 NFL Season
When Jalen Carter was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles as the ninth pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, some people were concerned about his weight. But it seems like those worries might be unfounded.
Recently, there was a picture shared by Chase Senio of ChatSports which looked like a screenshot taken from a video shared on Instagram story, showing Carter without his shirt on, and he looks in great shape.

During his time at Georgia, Carter was a standout player, making 83 tackles, 18.5 tackles for loss, and six sacks over three seasons. However, when he was weighed at the NFL Scouting Combine, he was 314 pounds, and a few weeks later at his school’s Pro Day, he weighed 323 pounds.
The Eagles have a strong defensive line, so they don’t necessarily need Carter to play a lot right away. But if he’s really gotten himself in such good shape, it could make him even more dangerous when he does get on the field.
So, it’ll be interesting to see what his weight is when training camp starts. If he’s as fit as he appears to be, it could be a game-changer for him and the Eagles.
