Jadeveon Clowney, A Former Browns Pass Rusher Joining AFC North Rival
Jadeveon Clowney is sticking around in the AFC North for the upcoming 2023 season. The Baltimore Ravens have decided to bring him on board with a one-year deal, as reported by Jordan Schultz. We’re not sure about the exact details of the deal just yet.
Clowney, who was once the top pick from South Carolina, played in 12 games with the Browns last season. He made a total of 28 tackles, gave the quarterback a hard time four times, broke up three passes, and scored two sacks.

While the 2022 season wasn’t so great for Clowney, it was pretty clear that he wasn’t getting along well with the team. Maybe a change of scenery is just what he needs to get back to his awesome 2021 self.
Back in 2021, Clowney really outshined everyone. He racked up 37 tackles, 19 quarterback hits, bagged nine sacks, and even forced two fumbles for the Browns. It was his best season since way back in 2018.
Now, Clowney is joining the defensive lineup in Baltimore, which already has cool players like Justin Madubuike, Michael Pierce, Odafe Oweh, Roquan Smith, Patrick Queen, and Tyus Bowser, among others.
It’s kinda funny that the Ravens are starting off their regular season against the Texans, the very team that picked Clowney in the 2014 draft. Irony at its finest!
