Jack Nicklaus Sings A Whole Different Song On LIV Merger
It’s been not a while when The Golden Bear, Jack Nicklaus was against the LIV and the PGA Players who accepted the lucrative offers given by LIV Golf.
He said LIV golfers are not “part of the game anymore.”
Just a week ago Nicklaus, 83, said “I don’t really consider those guys part of the game anymore; and I don’t mean that in a nasty way … or really mean it that way,” Continue with “To me, this is a PGA Tour event and we’ve got the best field we can possibly have on the PGA Tour. Those who are eligible to be here. The other guys made a choice to go where they went. We don’t really talk about it.”
Now a week later he changed his tune and now singing a song in favor of the LIV merger said it was “good for the game.” According to Palm Beach Post Jack spoke with Jay Monahan PGA’s commissioner about the merger this morning and the conversation between these two changed the entire perception of Jack about the PGA Tour and LIV Golf.
