Is WWE Real or Fake
WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) is a sports entertainment company founded by Mr. Vince Mcmahon and his wife Mrs. Linda Mcmahon in 1953. WWE runs weekly shows (like Monday Night Raw, Friday Night Smackdown, and WWE NXT), PPV (pay-per-view) events every month, and live events. The fighters/wrestlers who compete in WWE squared ring are called WWE Superstars. WWE matches are scripted and written by their team of writers. WWE writers write the storyline for the weekly shows which helps WWE Superstars to build the storyline for PPV matches.
Who decides the winner of WWE matches?
WWE writers and editors’ team decides the winner of WWE matches based on the schedule or availability of the WWE Superstar (who needs time off from the ring for an upcoming Hollywood movie or needed time to recover from the injury).
Does WWE Superstar suffer real injury?
Though WWE is a sports entertainment company, the storyline demands its Superstars to be in shape and practice some real and tough moves. During practice or while performing the moves in front of the WWE Universe, sometimes WWE Superstars get injured and have to undergo real pain. WWE officials (referees and medical staff) make sure that the chances of Superstars getting injured are low.
Are WWE fights legal?
WWE does not organize real wrestling contests, it is a sports (wrestling) entertainment company where wrestlers (WWE superstars) perform scripted or partially choreographed moves only. The blood used in WWE isn’t real, it’s a result of a process of ‘blading‘. But sometimes WWE has to face legalities, in 2002, World Wildlife Fund filed a lawsuit for the trademark of ‘WWF’ because, at that time, the company’s name was World Wrestling Federation.
Are there any rules in WWE?
WWE has some rules which help to protect its wrestlers from any major injury. They are as follows:
1. The practice of blading is now prohibited inside the WWE ring.
2. WWE wrestlers can’t go for the low-blow moves.
3. Unlike UFC, chokeholds moves are not allowed inside the WWE ring.
4. Wrestlers can’t put their hands on officials (referees, announcers, medical staff, security staff, etc)
5. Wrestlers are not allowed to reveal the storyline to WWE Universe.
