Then, Josh Hart from the Lakers team made two free throws, bringing the score to 112-108. The Lakers tried to catch up by calling a timeout, but in the end, D’Angelo Russell missed a three-point shot, and the game ended.
In the earlier part of the game, the Knicks were in the lead, but they started to lose. However, in the last quarter, one of their players named Barrett started playing better and helped the team win. Before that, he had made only six of fifteen attempts, and the Knicks were behind by one point going into the final quarter.
One of the Knicks’ players, Jalen Brunson, had hurt his left foot, so he couldn’t play in the game. However, the team still managed to win, even though this was the second game in a row that Brunson missed and the fourth out of five games since he was injured.
One of the Lakers players, Russell, did very well in the game, scoring 33 points and making six three-point shots. However, in the last quarter, he only made one of his five attempts, and the Lakers lost the game. They had been on a winning streak for three games, but unfortunately, it came to an end, and they missed an opportunity to have an even record for the season.
