In the bitter cold of Colorado, Jackson and Brittany Mahomes turn out to cheer on Patrick Mahomes
Jackson, the younger brother of Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, will always be in his corner. They are a staple of Arrowhead Stadium during Kansas City Chiefs home games. When the Chiefs visit other teams, they also travel.
The 2023 Chiefs’ Week 8 matchup with the Denver Broncos was no different, as Jackson and Brittany traveled despite the low temperatures. Even though it was in the 20s, they continued to support the two-time NFL Most Valuable Player.
Jackson and Brittany Mahomes went to Empower Field at Mile High to see the Kansas City Chiefs play the Denver Broncos despite the snow. Patrick Mahomes’ wife and brother were also present. So, as you can see in these sideline images, they donned jackets.
Brittany’s hair appears to have been straightened from the pictures. She may have been paying homage to Taylor Swift’s early career haircut with her curly hair in the preceding weeks. While Jackson donned a Chiefs top, she also wore pants with the word “Mahomes” inscribed on them.
When the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes faced their division opponents again, they were riding a six-game winning run. They have been winning at Arrowhead Stadium since Week 6 when they held the Denver Broncos to only eight points.
Sadly, while Mahomes was playing with the sickness in Week 8, the Chiefs weren’t as lucky. Despite the fact that the two-time Super Bowl winner completed passes for 241 yards to 11 different receivers, Kansas City did not score any touchdowns.
Even worse, Mahomes threw two expensive interceptions. In the second quarter, Ja’Quan McMillan stole the ball meant for Travis Kelce, giving him his first. Justin Simmons, in the meanwhile, passed for Marquez Valdes-Scantling and grabbed the second selection.
Patrick Mahomes now has eight interceptions against 15 touchdowns as a result of those giveaways. This season, it’s his second game with multiple interceptions.
