Iconic College Sports Mascot’s Death Broke the Fan’s Heart


Jack also known as Jack the Bulldog who is an iconic Georgetown mascot died of illness on Monday. This news was announced by The Hoyas which saddened all the fans all over the world. Jack was the favorite of his fans and was loved so much by each and every one.
“With a heavy heart, we share the sad news that our beloved Jack the Bulldog has gone over the Rainbow Bridge after a brief illness. Please keep all who cared for and loved him so dearly in your thoughts and prayers,” the school announced.

All the fans paid tribute to Jack and reacted to his death.
“Oh, man. Jack. I remember your first public appearance at a Georgetown basketball game in Fall 2019. An army of children swarmed you & you puked. The trainer goes “He does that when he gets excited.” All the kids laughed. Thanks for being such a good boy. Rest easy!” one fan wrote.

“I genuinely chose to go to Georgetown because I loved Jack so much. He was sunshine!! Will be greatly missed,” one fan added.
“Very sad to hear this. Jack was a big part of my grad school experience! He was a master at alleviating my stress and putting a smile on my face,” another fan wrote.
“R.I.P. Jack! You were so loved. All dogs go to heaven,” one fan added.
Rest in peace Jack. You will always be remembered in our hearts.
