I Wish Eddie Was My Real Father – Dominik Mysterio on WWE Raw

Welcome to the BullScore Wrestling News section. In this article, we are going to discuss Dominik’s statement on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. Dominik said to his father ‘Rey Mysterio’ who is his WrestleMania 39 Opponent also, ‘I wish Eddie was my real father and you don’t even exist’.

Eddie Guerrero was a former WWE Superstar he died in November 2005. During SummerSlam 2005, Eddie Guerrero fought with Rey Mysterio in a ladder match for the custody of Dominik Mysterio. Rey won the match and the custody too. But it is believed that Eddie’s affair with his ex leads to the birth of Dom and then due to the situation, he requested Rey and his wife to raise dom and take care of him.

Friday Night Smackdown (March 10, 2023)

Dom made his debut in WWE as a tag-team partner of Rey Mysterio on SummerSlam 2020. The team Mysterio continued till Clash of Champions 2022 when Dom attacked Edge and Rey Mysterio (his tag partners that night) and turned heel to join The Judgement Day (stable in WWE).

Earlier this month (March 2023), Dom issued a challenge to his father ‘Rey Mysterio’ for a fight at WrestleMania 39 which Rey denied, and then on the March 10, 2023’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown Dom said that he wishes he was Eddie’s son and same segment he said earlier this week on Monday Night Raw (March 27, 2023).

Last week on Smackdown (March 24, 2023), Dom continues to push the limits of his father to let him accept the WrestleMania Match challenge. Rey accepted the challenge when Dom insults his mother on Smackdown last week. Rey punched him in the face and said not to disrespect his wife ever again.

Father v/s Son (Head to Head) at WrestleMania 39

The match was made official when Rey was forced to accept the challenge issued by Dom to a fight at WrestleMania 39. This match is going to be on Night 1 of WrestleMania 39 i.e., on April 1, 2023. Who do you think will win the match when the same blood fights each other inside the squared circle of the WWE ring at the Biggest Event in Sports Wrestling Entertainment? My prediction is Rey Mysterio will win the match and teach his son a lesson of a lifetime.
