‘I got the all clear ‘ Said Martina Navratilova On Cancer
On Monday Martina Navratilova announced on her Twitter she is cancer free. She was suffering from Breast cancer and Throat cancer.
Good news coming from the Tennis Court. Former tennis legend wins battle against cancer.
Monday, Tennis Legend Martina Navratilova announced her victory over cancer. The 18-time singles Grand Slam champion Martina shared the good news on her Twitter account with all her fans. And wrote
“After a day full of tests at Sloan Kettering, I got the all clear!”
She sighed a big relief and thanked all the Medical Staff and doctors.
“Thank you to all the doctors, nurses, proton and radiation magicians etc. What a relief.”
Martina had a history of diagnostic cancer in the past. She was diagnosed with a non-invasive form of breast cancer in 2010. And in January she began treatment for throat cancer and breast cancer.
She retired in 1994 from Singles playing. All nine Wimbledon won by her between 1978 to 1990. In total Navratilova holds 167 accolades in singles and 177 in doubles. She won a mixed doubles final at the 2006 U.S after that she retired from tennis double at the age of 50.
