“I am done, boys!” Julian Edelman lets the Cat out of the Bag!

Every member of the New England Patriots, a professional American football club based in the Greater Boston area, yells, “I am shipping up to Boston!” The team has quite made the highlights in the past days, for the bunch of rumors spreading around, suspecting a possible comeback of Former Player, Julian Edelman was a wide receiver for the New England Patriots who competed in the National Football League (NFL) for 12 seasons.

Dating back to December 2022, with the NFL regular season sun-setting, the playoff contenders and teams began reaching out for modifications. In other instances, it also involved contacting recently retired players to inquire about their willingness to come back for the final stretch.

Julian Edelman, who retired before the 2021 season, revealed he had also received three such calls from teams asking whether he would play again. “There have been some calls, and I’ve turned them down,” he said In September, Edelman said he might consider a comeback if a team making a playoff push made a call. This led to huge rumors and speculations of his return. “But if there’s a team vying for a playoff run, the guy goes down. Could I get ready? I probably could,” he said at the time. “You can never say never.”

However, now the rumors have been put to an end by him. On the latest episode of Barstool Sports’ “Pardon My Take” podcast, the ex-England Patriot player, let the car out of the bag and made it crystal clear that his days on the field are over now.

“I’m done, boys,” Edelman said. “You can’t be two years out of the game coming in at 37 with knee braces and taped ankles thinking you’re going to go out here and compete against these young bucks.” prove a football player. He has the legacy of winning three Super Bowl titles, and a Rank No. 3 all-time in playoff receptions and No. 2 in playoff yards. His legacy is worthy enough to be remembered for centuries.

The  37-year-old Edelman sees AGE as a major factor and a crucial reason for not returning. Parallely, he has also been off the field ever since April 2021, having missed two full seasons. Which is the reason enough!

The clarification made the rumors meet the end.
