How to Unlock & Use Exocrafts in No Man’s Sky?
Exploring the vast universe of No Man’s Sky can be a thrilling experience, but sometimes it can be a slow and dangerous one. That’s where exocrafts come in – these vehicles will help you traverse planets faster and more safely. In this guide, we’ll show you how to get an exocraft in No Man’s Sky and provide some tips on the best ones to use.
How to Unlock an Exocraft in No Man’s Sky?
Unlocking an exocraft is a fairly simple process in No Man’s Sky. First, follow the Main Quest until you reach the Construction Research Station part. Build the research station and interact with it to open the Construction Modules menu. Navigate to the Transport Modules tab, where you’ll find blueprints for various exocrafts.
Each exocraft will require a specific amount of Salvaged Data, which can be found using the scanner in the Buried Technology Module. Once you have enough Salvaged Data, you can unlock all the blueprints and start building your exocrafts.
Alternatively, you can continue the main storyline until you complete the “Expanding the Base” quest. As a reward, you’ll receive the Exocraft Terminal blueprint. Build this terminal, but keep in mind that you’ll need a good amount of Salvaged Data. Now, to recruit a Vy’keen technician, visit a space station and speak with any Vy’keen you come across. This will trigger the Exocraft Technician quest. Once you complete that, you’ll get access to the Nomad rover and other blueprints.
Best Exocrafts in No Man’s Sky Interceptor
No Man’s Sky Interceptor has six exocrafts that you can unlock. Here’s a list of them:
- Roamer
- Nomad
- Pilgrim
- Colossus
- Minotaur
- Nautilon
Out of these, the Minotaur is considered the best exocraft in No Man’s Sky. It comes equipped with a jetpack and can shoot missiles, making it an excellent choice for combat. The Minotaur Bore upgrade can also alter the terrain, which is helpful for mining resources. Additionally, the Minotaur is immune to all planetary hazards and can even mine for resources underwater.
