How to Unlock Deflouxor to Defeat Zurks in Stray?

The protagonist of the game is a normal cat that will be facing a constant life threat without any defense. This decision of not modifying the cat or giving some weird power was a brilliant one by the developers making this a lot more exciting. But, even then players would want to get rid of those annoying small Zurks who don’t stop appearing. Fortunately, there is a way to destroy them.

Stray has a variety of robots with human-like quirks and unique personalities that give the game a fondness that is not available in most games. There are various robots like the Grandma keeping everyone nice and warm, the Guardian protecting the settlement from every threat, Stargazer on the rooftops, and even the laundry place’s angry owner, others as well.

Of all the robots in the walled city, the Outsiders are the most energetic group that players will be looking forward to encountering as one of them has Defluxor.

Stray: Location of Defluxor and how to get it

Defluxor, the weapon that will help to get rid of the Zurks can be obtained in the chapter Dead End. Players will be given a task by Seamus to find one of the Outsiders, Doc who went to try a secret weapon capable of slaying the Zurks. Seamus is the son of Doc and waits for his return to the slums.

Doc’s house is located opposite the large courtyard with a yellow cable attached to his house from the generator, Players can purse the cable and find the house. But players would need to be cautious about the Zurks and their sinister capabilities before making their way to the Doc’s house. 

Making their way to the Building players have to head downstairs and meet Doc. Gamers will learn that he got trapped while he was out experimenting with his Defluxor, which can kill Zurks. The cat would need to get in the workshop and interact with Defluxor. Doc will explain that players need to power the machine through the yellow cable connected to the generator.

Gamers will need to activate the generator in the courtyard by changing the fuse. Doc has a replacement fuse that players must take, plugging this fuse in the generator will bring it back to life. The noise from starting the generator will alert the horde of zurks that players will need to get away from and reach back to the house. 

Doc will luckily turn on the Defluxor to help the Cat. Doc will be standing on the balcony shining the place around them with intense purple light. All the Zurks that will come in the contact with this light will pop and scatter around. 

Once players reach back to the house after getting away from the horde of Zurks they have to speak to Doc. Doc will attach a Defluxor to the cat’s drone friend, B-12. Defluxor can be used to eliminate any Zurk nearby, players can use these functions by holding R2 or LMB. however, players must be careful not to overheat the Machine.

The journey back to The Slums along with Doc will be convenient as gamers will be equipped with a new weapon that will destroy any Zurk coming in their way.
