How to Make and Use a Conduit in Minecraft?

Minecraft is a worldwide famous building game that allows players to create many unbelievable structures like SMPs, Gigantic Builds, RPG Realms, Redstone Machines, etc. However, to build these structures underwater was still a dream for players as living deep in the ocean or water bodies is not an easy task.

There are many factors like no visibility due to lack of light, impossible to breathe without oxygen, and players’ ability to mine due to cold water affected when living underwater for a long time. Although, Minecraft has made it possible with the new Aquatic update recently. The update has featured a special thing that will help players to avoid all those factors, the Conduit.

Conduit allows players with a wide range of special powers and abilities. The abilities which players get from conduits are breathing underwater, night vision, and a haste status effect. Conduits also keep underwater creatures away with a light effect. Therefore, it allows players to create an underwater world for themselves. However, first players need to figure out how to make a Conduit and how to use a conduit in Minecraft.

How to make a conduit Minecraft?

To make a conduit in Minecraft players may require some materials which are:

• 8 Nautilus
• A Heart of Sea

The Nautilus can be found easily in Minecraft. Players can get the Nautilus by fishing them up, can purchase them from traders, and can get them by drowning. Although, acquiring Heart of Sea is quite difficult in Minecraft. The Heart of Sea can only be obtained from a treasure chest buried underground. 

After getting the two items, Players can now create the Conduit, by putting them into the 3×3 crafting table, with Heart of Sea in the middle surrounded by the Nautilus in 8 boxes. You have a conduit now to use in Minecraft.

How to Use a Conduit in Minecraft?

To use the Conduit in Minecraft, Players have to make a frame from Prismarine blocks. The power and the range of the conduit depend upon the size of the frame. Therefore, players must make a good and large frame.

First of all, Players need to find a perfect underwater location having a proper area nearby to make underwater structures. Hence, after selecting the location to place the conduit, follow the below process to make the frame for it:

Step 1: In the first step, Players need to make a base for the frame in a plus sign using 9 Prismarine blocks as shown in the picture below.

Step 2: Now at each end of the plus sign build four pillars using 4 blocks. However, Players can increase the limit of blocks to 42.

Step 3: Join the pillars from above to completely shut the frame, leaving only the base exposed. To connect the pillars, you’ll need 5 blocks. 

Step 4: Using three blocks on each of the four sides, link the frame’s sides at the junction to complete it.

Step 5: Finally, the conduit needs to be positioned in the frame’s middle. To accomplish that, we must first add a temporary block to the frame’s base to position the conduit in the middle. Place a block in the base of the frame and then the conduit on top of it. Remove the block after that. Kudos! The conduit has been placed successfully.

To benefit from the conduit power, players must remain close to it. Depending on the frame you have created, it will give you this unique power within a radius of 32 to 96 blocks. To have an infinite range of conduit power, you can submerge as many conduit frames as you like.
