How Much James Harden Might Have To Pay For Missing Games
James Harden, the star player of the Philadelphia 76ers is highly likely not to play in some games this season.
He’s been hoping to be traded but unfortunately, it’s not happening anytime soon, which is making him quite frustrated.
If he chooses to sit out while waiting for a trade, ESPN’s Bobby Marks has calculated how much he could be fined in total.
“James Harden could be subjected to a $389,082 fine for every preseason and regular season game he misses without the consent of the team. The fine would fall under “failure to render services”. There’s also a minimal fine (starting at $2500)for missing practice.”

Harden has been trying hard to secure a trade to the Los Angeles Clippers, hoping to team up with fellow All-Stars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. His wish stems from his disappointment earlier this year when he didn’t get the long-term contract he desired after the season.
Recently, he mentioned that his relationship with Daryl Morey, the president of basketball operations for the 76ers, is beyond repair.
