Hilarious “Saturday Night Live” Spoof on “Blind Side” Movie Gets a Second Wind, Goes Viral
Remember that famous movie “The Blind Side” from 2009? Well, “Saturday Night Live” (SNL) decided to put their own spin on it, and now their spoof is causing a buzz online.
In this SNL sketch, Sandra Bullock, who played Leigh Anne Tuohy in the original movie, is back in action. But there’s a twist – this time she’s holding none other than Peyton Manning, the football star, against his will. Picture “The Blind Side,” but with a spooky-comedy vibe.

The reason this sketch is making waves again is because of something happening in real life. You see, Michael Oher, the guy whose life inspired “The Blind Side,” has some things to say about it. He’s claimed that the Tuohy family tricked him into signing a paper that gave them control over his affairs.
But hold on, it gets even more interesting. Sean Tuohy, who’s part of the Tuohy family, says they did what they did to make sure Oher could play college football at Ole Miss. According to him, they talked to lawyers who told them they couldn’t adopt Oher since he was over 18. So, they went with a “conservatorship” instead. This way, they legally took care of him.
Tuohy explained, “I sat Michael down and told him, ‘If you’re planning to go to Ole Miss — or even considering Ole Miss — we think you have to be part of the family. This would do that legally. We contacted lawyers who had told us that we couldn’t adopt over the age of 18; the only thing we could do was to have a conservatorship. We were so concerned it was on the up-and-up that we made sure the biological mother came to court.”
They even made sure Oher’s biological mother was in court when it happened.
So, there you have it – a funny sketch from “Saturday Night Live” is back in the spotlight because of some real-life drama.
