The concept of High on Life is inspired by Science Fiction and was first created by Justin Roiland. This game contains some adult storyline and it makes this game unavailable for underage players.
In this article, I am providing all the information regarding the age barriers/ratings in the game.
Age Ratings in High on Life Game
During the storyline play in the game, there are many times (like, In the first 10 minutes of the game, players will be invited to snort cocaine by their teen sister off a compact) when players face nudity, alien orifices, and some admittedly crass humor. This made the publisher turn its availability to adult players only. A user must be at least 17 years old to purchase this game.
It is noted by many players that the storyline of this game is somehow connected with the life of Rick and Morty. However, it is not directly connected but some artistic presentations in the game show a glimpse similar to the life of Rick and Morty.
Players’ Response Towards High on Life on Various Platforms
Players are enjoying this game since its release as it has already achieved a rating of 9/10 stars on the biggest e-games marketplace platform, STEAM. Other than this, this game has achieved an average of 6.9 rating on Metacritic.
