Hamann believed Liverpool should part ways with Jurgen Klopp for the better.
Hamann tells Liverpool and Klopp to part ways: ‘Best for both sides’
Liverpool Boss Jurgen Klopp has often been candid about his pleasure of the challenging Liverpool season. Last season, the Reds came close to winning a quadruple, however, since then Liverpool has struggled to compete for even a single title this season.
After a string of poor performances, Liverpool is out of Europe and Domestic cup campaigns while they sit sixth in the Premier League standings.
Despite the failure, Klopp is expected to stay as a manager with both the fans and the board believing in the German.
What did Hamann have to say?
While talking to Sky Sports, Hamann had his say about Jurgen Klopp: “I feel like he’s telling himself he can turn it around. That assumes they bring players in.
“If they don’t bring players in, then I can’t see him staying because I can’t imagine him staying if he doesn’t have a remote chance of playing for a title. The competition is huge.
“I think it would be best for both sides if they make a cut in the summer. The team has been falling apart in the last few months. For a coach who’s been around that long, I think it’s almost impossible to pull off.”
