Hailey Van Lith’s Unbelievable Words for Caitlin Clark
It’s been more than 2 months since Caitlin Clark, an Iowa women’s basketball star hit the Hailey Van Lith with her iconic “you can’t see me” gesture. Iowa ended up winning that game and made it to the Final Four, but unfortunately, they lost in the championship game against LSU.
after that moment, nobody really asked Hailey Van Lith what she thought about it until now. She recently appeared in the media with Taylor Rooks and explained that she didn’t even realize it happened until she saw it on Instagram. She also mentioned that the gesture wasn’t meant specifically for her.
Van Lith said, “We laughed about it after. She did it to her strength coach. She didn’t do it to anyone on our team, especially me. I didn’t even know what happened until I saw it over Instagram later.”
Despite these comments, some fans still don’t believe Van Lith.
Some people think the media made a big deal out of nothing regarding the incident. Anyway, in the next season, Van Lith will try to defeat Clark because Clark switched teams and joined LSU, who were the champions.
