Introduction and Steps to Find Master Sword in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Master Sword is the ultimate weapon in the game which Link somehow lost at the beginning of the storyline. After that, it got stuck on the Dragon’s head. To get your access to Master Sword again, you need 2 Stamina bars and the location of the Light Dragon. A player can get the stamina bars by completing 20 shrines in the game. And, in order to find the Light Dragon, you need to go through 3 ways as follows:

  • Land directly on its head
  • Restore the Deku Tree
  • Collect 12 Dragon Tear memories

Directly Landing on The Dragon’s Head

This is the quickest way to get re-access to Master Sword. You need to be attentive as whenever the Light Dragon takes the charge to fly, you need to jump on its head and pull out the precious and most destructive weapon of the game.

Restore the Deku Tree

If you are willing to go through this way then follow the below-mentioned steps:

  1. A player needs to enter the Minshi Woods Chasm first.
  2. Now, head northwest and move to the ruins.
  3. Once reached, now Ascend up and interact with the Deku Tree in Korok Forest.
  4. Lastly, head towards Korok Grove and defeat the Phantom Ganon.

Collecting 12 Dragon Tear Memories

Before taking it this way, let me tell you that this is the longest way to reach the Light Dragon in the game. But, if you are sure to take this path, then follow these steps:

  1. First, interact with Impa to get access to the mission “Impa and the Geoglyphs”.
  2. Now, find all the Dragon Tears. There are 11 that you can find easily and 1 which is hidden (found in the middle of the Rist Peninsula).
  3. Once you collect all 12 of them, now you can find the Dragon in Akkala region.
  4. Reach its head to pull out Master Sword.
