The Legend of Zelda gaming series is developed and published by Nintendo and is currently available on one gaming platform only, Nintendo Switch. In this game, players have to get a horse to traverse quickly. In this article, I am providing you with a guide that will help you to locate and get a rare breed of horse, the Golden Horse.

Introduction of Golden Horse in Zelda: TotK

The Golden breed of Horse is rare in the game and it comes with 3 Stamina. Also, this horse can be tamed easily. But, the hard part is finding this horse, the player needs to complete some quests provided by non-playable characters (NPCs) of the game. This horse is mostly located near fallen ruins north of the Tabantha Tundra.

Guide to Get Golden Horse in Zelda: TotK

In order to get Golden Horse, you need to complete the Potential Princess Sightings quest. Completing this quest might require an extra stamina wheel. Here are the steps to follow:

  1. First, go to the Oromuwak shrine and then take the northwest road to reach Lucky Clover Gazette.
  2. Now, talk to Penn and Traysi here to get the Potential Princess Sightings quest.
  3. Then, head to the Snowfield Stable and talk to Penn and Harlow to get the side quest Zelda’s Golden Horse (which is in the northside).
  4. If you go north directly, you risk triggering the Frost Gleeok fight.
  5. It’s better to go north but move to the east.
  6. Follow these coordinates -1807, 3365, 0241, and you will locate the Golden Horse.
  7. Now, it’s time to soothe and calm the horse before you try to hop on it.
  8. Now, register your new horse at a stable nearby. Remember that registering a horse is free for the first time only. After that, you need to pay 20 rupees to register each horse.
