Guide to Evolve Magikarp Pokemon
Welcome to the BullScore News ‘Pokemon‘ Special Edition. In this article, I am providing you with a guide that will help you to find and train the Weakest Pokemon, Magikarp. Yes, you read it right Magikarp is the weakest Pokemon (lowest stats in the entire Pokemon database). But, if you catch it and add it to your team, you will be rewarded with having the Strongest Pokemon later. If you wonder how? Then, read till the end for complete information.
Before heading to that, let’s begin with the introduction, stats, and abilities of Magikarp.
Magikarp (Introduction, Stats, and Abilities)
Magikarp is a water-type Pokemon (tera-type). It was introduced in the first generation of Pokemon as Fish Pokemon. Its abilities are Swift Slim and Rattled. Magikarp’s stats are as follows:
HP: 20
Attack: 10
Defense: 55
Special Attack: 15
Special Defense: 20
Speed: 80
Now, after reading the stats of Magikarp, players think twice before adding it to their team. But, the only point of adding Magikarp to the team is its evolved version, Gyarados (The strongest Pokemon of All). Gyarados is a dual tera-type Pokemon, that appears as a Dragon. But, it’s not a quick and easy process as Magicarp has a slow growth rate.
Steps to Evolve Magikarp into Gyarados
The major requirement needed to evolve Magikarp into Gyarados is Level 20. As I mentioned above, it is a quite slow process. So, Players need to have patience and skills to train Magikarp. Between Levels 1 to 14, Magikarp learns only one move, Splash (it is of no use). At Level 15, Magikarp learns the second move and the first beneficial move Tackle. It can be used as a defense in the battle.
And, once you reach level 20, you can now evolve Magikarp and finally has a reward of getting Gyarados (Water and Flying type Pokemon) added to the team. Here are the stats of Gyarados:
HP: 95
Attack: 125
Defense: 79
Special Attack: 60
Special Defense: 100
Speed: 81
