GTA Online’s Last Dose Update Adds San Andreas Reference and More
GTA Online’s new DLC, The Last Dose, has a surprise for fans in the form of an Easter egg from the past. The Supa Save supermarket chain, which featured in previous GTA games, makes a comeback in a mission in The Last Dose. While the chain does not open a new location in Los Santos, Dax mentions it during the Checking In mission, and it triggers memories for fans who played GTA 3 and San Andreas.
The Last Dose marks a first for GTA since the original game launched over 25 years ago. The protagonist has to be “wasted” for the mission to end, which was also required in the Heist Almighty – Itali mission in the first game.
The Last Dose revolves around a pharmaceutical company called FriedMind, run by Isiah Friedlander, who was Michael’s therapist in GTA 5’s story. Fans who spared his life in the game will be pleased to see his return in this DLC.

Dax suggests a contact of his can create a “Supa Save version” of their acid. Fans who played GTA 3 and San Andreas will remember the chain, and its mention in the mission will bring back fond memories.
First since the Original Game
