Giannis Antetokounmpo crushes the rim with a massive dunk
Milwaukee Bucks star player forward Giannis Antetokounmpo delivered a jaw-dropping dunk during the game against the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night. Antetokounmpo’s dunk came early in the third quarter as he bulldozed through his teammate, Jordan Nwora, before slamming the ball with one hand over Isaiah Jackson, who was left powerless against Giannis.
The Bucks crushed the Pacers and made a victory with a final score of 149-136. This was a dominant performance from the Bucks, who displayed an offensive onslaught led by Jrue Holiday and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Holiday scored a career-high 51 points, while Antetokounmpo contributed a triple-double with 38 points, 17 rebounds, and 12 assists, shooting an impressive 77.8%. The Bucks also shot an impressive 62.4% they made 58 shots out of 93.
The Pacers’ rookie shooting guard, Bennedict Mathurin, led his team while scoring 29 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals, shooting at 52.4%.
This win was redemption for the Bucks, who had lost to the Pacers in a previous game. Following the earlier loss, Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer had spoken about the team’s difficulty in keeping up with Indiana’s pace of play. However, in Wednesday’s rematch, Milwaukee had no trouble keeping up with the Pacers’ pace, as shown by their massive point total.
“They’re just relentless, they keep coming. They keep (the pace) up, that’s how they play every night. They’re well-coached. They know what they’re doing. They’re just kind of relentless in transition.”
With this win, the Bucks have improved their record to a league-best 55-21, making them sit comfortably ahead of the second-placed Boston Celtics With W/L 52-24 in the Eastern Conference, with six games remaining. On the other hand, the Pacers have lost four consecutive games, making them slip down the standings, currently in 12th place in the East with a record of 33-44. They are three and a half games behind the tenth-placed Chicago Bulls with 36-40 W/L, with five games left to play.
