The former Real Madrid man recently decided to hang up his boots at the age of 33. The former footballer had an illustrious and decorated career in the sport. The Welsh forward was arguably one of the finest wingers during the last decade. As per TransferMarkt, Bale scored 186 goals and provided 137 assists during his career. A career switch to Golf

Many were left confused when Bale retired from soccer and started playing golf. However, not many people are aware that the Welshman was always keen on playing golf. Often criticized for his actions and questioned on his commitment to Real Madrid, the Welshman was often seen playing golf and coming late to training at the Bernabeu.

Once, while out on international duty, he infamously held out a Welsh flag that reads ‘Wales. Golf. Madrid. In that order’ Bale set his priorities straight with this action.

As of now, there have been talks about him officially joining the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

It was prior to that event when Bale joined Rahm, who is recognized for his abilities across the world. Moreover, Rahm has also been at the Ryder Cup representing Europe.

Upon meeting and spending some time with Bale, Rahm expressed his appreciation towards Bale and his golf skills. He joked around while saying that the Welshman “had no business” being so good at the sport.

While talking to the media present there, he said, “I told Gareth, ‘you can’t be so good at professional football and golf at the same time, it just doesn’t seem fair.'”
