Game-Winning Goal by Lionel Messi In MLS Debut

In the recent match of Inter Miami against Cruz Azul, Lionel Messi’s Game-Winning Goal at DRV PNK Stadium is going wild on the internet. It was a debut to Miami from Messie’s side. 

With a tide of 1-1 after 90 minutes of the game, everything depended on Messi’s free kick. In front of everyone, he kicked the ball from 25 yards aiming at the top-left corner of the goalpost. This kick was so complicated and fast that Cruz Azul’s goalkeeper had no chance of stopping it.

“I knew it was the last chance,” Messi said. “I just tried like I always do and fortunately the goalkeeper couldn’t get the ball.

“It is important for this team to get wins because we are not in a good position in the league. I know this is another tournament but it will help our morale.”
