The Open Championship is one of the oldest golf events founded in 1860. Americans have started to call it the British Open so that they could differentiate it from the U.S. Open. The organizers of the Open Championship started a campaign in 2017 to stop calling it British Open anymore.
Shakespeare said, “What’s in the name.” Guess what for golf purists everything is in the name. According to Paige, it would be a great week for golf lovers. Later in the video, she drops her favorite picks for the Open. She also dropped her five favorite picks for the Scottish Open.
The Open Championship will be aired on Thursday morning on NBC and Peacock.
