She also mentioned that the Giants’ front office, under the leadership of new general manager Joe Schoen, had another opportunity to improve the team through free agency and the draft.

The Giants had a disappointing 2021 season, finishing with a record of 4-13 and having the second-worst offense in the NFL for the second year in a row. However, the hiring of Daboll and Schoen and the emergence of several key players led to a significant turnaround in 2022. Saquon Barkley and Darius Slayton had huge bounce-back seasons, while quarterback Daniel Jones enjoyed a career year. The Giants ended the season with a 9-7-1 record and secured their playoff spot with weeks to spare.

The Giants’ playoff run may have been short-lived, but it has given fans hope for the future.
