FOX Sports reporter believes in the potential of the New York Giants
The New York Giants have surprised many with their playoff run in 2022 after missing the playoffs the previous season. This has led to speculation that the New york Giants’ “Future Is Bright”, and this sentiment was echoed by Fox Sports NFL sideline reporter Erin Andrews in a recent interview with TheSpun.
Erin Andrews praised the Giants, new head coach, Brian Daboll, calling him “one of the best”, and stated that she is excited to see what moves the Giants will make in the offseason to improve their team. She also mentioned that the Giants’ front office, under the leadership of new general manager Joe Schoen, had another opportunity to improve the team through free agency and the draft.
The Giants had a disappointing 2021 season, finishing with a record of 4-13 and having the second-worst offense in the NFL for the second year in a row. However, the hiring of Daboll and Schoen and the emergence of several key players led to a significant turnaround in 2022. Saquon Barkley and Darius Slayton had huge bounce-back seasons, while quarterback Daniel Jones enjoyed a career year. The Giants ended the season with a 9-7-1 record and secured their playoff spot with weeks to spare.
The Giants’ playoff run may have been short-lived, but it has given fans hope for the future. The team has a solid core of young talent, and with the right moves in the offseason, they could be back in contention for a division title or even a conference title. The Giants need to add some playmakers to their offense and make some big tweaks to their defense to take the next step. With Daboll and Schoen at the helm, the future is indeed looking bright for the New York Giants.
