Former Steelers QB ‘Big Ben’ Back As Quakers Assistant Coach
Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger known as ‘Big Ben’ is back on the field as Quaker Valley assistant coach.
In this college football season, Ben Roethlisberger will be on the sideline as an assistant coach for the Quaker Valley Fighting Quakers this fall.
On Friday, oneBURGH shared the exclusive news on their Facebook page.
41, Big Ben played 18 seasons in the NFL before calling it off. He played college football for Miami and then was selected by the Steelers in the first round of the 2004. Ben is also known as the most prolific passer in NFL history.
Roethlisberger won two Super Bowl championships with the Steelers. He called it a career after the 2021 season. He finished that year with 3,740 yards through the air, 22 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions.
In 18 seasons, Roethlisberger completed 64.4% of his passes for 64,088 yards, 418 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions.
This year is going to be exciting for the Quakers to work with Hall of famer quarterback on the coaching staff.
