Yaqub’s has really gone for such a long period of time. The sentence came after his involvement in a fatal shooting of a youth football coach last summer.

Yaqub Talib was then charged with murder, a charge to which he pleaded guilty last month. Aqib Talib’s brother’s trial ended with 37 years of long prison sentence.
According to Aqib Talib’s Attorney, Aquib was apparently “very distraught and devastated over this terrible loss of life” shortly after the incident occurred, but has not spoken about it since.
