Former NBA Player Enes Kanter’s Quote Against Transgender Athletes Creates Controversy

Former Boston Celtics player Enes Kanter’s quote on Twitter against transgender athletes created a controversy.

Turky native Freedom aka Enes Kanter who turned basketball players into activists recently spoke about a lot of topics after being left unsigned from NBA franchises.

Last Friday, Kanter wrote a controversial quote on Twitter about his feelings on transgender athletes in sports.

Kanter wrote on Twitter, “Men don’t belong in women’s spaces. Restrooms – Locker Rooms or Sports.”

“Since I’m blackballed from the @NBA, should I put on a wig, identify as a woman, and start dominating the @WNBA?

“Is that when the outrage will begin? Is that fair to all the women who spent their whole life chasing their goals? Where are all the Women Rights Activists and Feminists?!”

Freedom played in the league from 2011-22. He was the third overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft by the Utah Jazz.

31, Kanter played several seasons for the Celtics before he got blackballed from the NBA community. Kenter believes his views on China are the reason why NBA franchises canceled him.

Enes Kanter Freedom has more than 600k followers on Twitter.
