Former Bucs WR Mike Williams Passed Away At 36 Due To Construction Site Accident
Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Williams passed away due to several injuries after a Construction site accident.
Mike Williams who played most of his NFL career in the Buc, after that Bills, and Chiefs, lost his life at the age of 36.
Hiss Agent told Ian Rapoport, the NFL Network reporter that, Williams passed away after sustaining severe injuries in an electrical wiring accident. He was placed in intensive care last week.
His wife Tierney Lyle, told the reporters that he was taken off the ventilator and breathing on his own Thursday.
The Buccaneers also shared the official statement and paid their tribute to the former Bucs player.
“We are saddened to hear of the untimely death of Mike Williams, which has left our organization, his former teammates and fans with heavy hearts,” the team said in a statement posted on social media. “We send our deepest sympathies to his family and loved ones as they mourn this tragedy.”

William played college football for Syracuse and scored 20 touchdowns. After that, Mike played his first four NFL seasons with Tampa Bay from 2010 to 2014. Where Williams achieved collected 2,947 receiving yards and 25 touchdowns, 11 of which he scored in his first year. He finished second in the 2010 Offensive Rookie of the Year voting.
William played with the Buffalo Bills in 2014 and was a member of the Kansas City Chiefs’ practice squad in 2016.
