Former 49ers Bruce Collie’s Daughter Dies In WW2 Era Plane Crash

Former 49ers Super Bowl Champion Bruce Collie’s daughter Devyn Reiley died in a WW2-era plane crash in Wisconsin.

Devyn Reiley, 30, died in a plane accident while she was participating in an air show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Reiley was flying a WWII-era T-6 Texan aircraft when the accident happened and her plane smashed into Lake Winnebago.

Bruce Collie, 61, played for the 49ers as a starter from 1985-89 and the Eagles from 1990-91. Two-time Super Bowl champion Bruce Collie’s oldest daughter in 13 children, was one of the two people who died in the Wisconsin Aircraft crash.

Texas native Devyn was fond of flying and her dad posted on his Facebook about Reiley.

Collie wrote, “When you have multiple children you have multiple choices… our Devyn Reiley has always chosen aviation… God is so cool to give her a family that is ALL aviation… thank you Reily’s for being the family that she was destined for…”

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Devyn’s family and friends in the time of need.
